FUNDAMENTALS ? DO YOU HAVE THEM?

 


RIP

 

The most important asset to develop, as far as skills are concerned are fundamentals. What I mean by fundamentals is the mastering of foundational skills that are the building blocks to greatness and success. When you think of the word ?overachievement?, you realize this is the one thing that every player should strive for; to play above their talents and capabilities. This will never be achieved without sound and solid fundamentals. I believe without a shadow of a doubt that our Quick Handle Basketball camps are without peer, in relationship to developing the necessary fundamental skills that you will need to be successful, both now and in the future.

 

Your number one goal should be the developing and perfecting of those key fundamental skills that will help you be an overachiever. I know of no other camp or training program that is committed to the philosophy and execution of intense drill repetition.

 

For 14 years we have prided ourselves in high-level instruction in several areas; ball-handling, moves off the dribble, footwork, mental toughness, quick trigger shooting as well as, in a number of our camps, top-notch post and point guard play and a philosophy of winning and developing superior intelligence that will allow you to out-think your opponent. If you agree with my premise, that developing superior fundamentals is the number one priority, then my question to you is, where are you going to find this? I believe you won?t find it in AAU play, or any other game setting. Because as important as gameplay is, it could never develop skills in the same way that a strong repetition program will. So I challenge you to consider that if you want to gain an optimal increase in your skill development to attend as many Quick Handle camps as possible this summer. When you think of fundamentals and Quick Handle, memorize this acronym; RIP.

By applying the RIP principle in our program, you will work on the innovative drills in a fun, but repetitious manner that will require intensity and game speed reaction which will build the foundation for the purpose of being an overachiever and experiencing success.
